Elise Brown and Emy Coonrod each had first place finishes Apr. 7 at the Carlinville Invitational. West Central finished third out of 11 teams. Litchfield and North Mac finished second and third. Brown won the triple jump at 29-5 and finished third in the long jump at 13-2. Coonrod won the 800 in 2:36. Izzy Wellenreiter finished third in the 800 in 2:51. The Cougars also won the 4×200 relay in 1:55, the 4×400 relay in 4:40 and the 4×800 in 11:24. Brown, Brooklyn Gregory, Ashlyn Likes and Olivia Bingeman ran on the 4×200 relay. Wellenreiter, Kaylee Hamilton, Gabby Sievers and Bingeman ran on the 4×400 relay. Wellenreiter, Hamilton, Sievers and Coonrod ran on the 4×800 relay.
