Brussels Community Unit School District 42 will be holding a Science Fair and Science Night from 6-8 p.m. The Science Fair portion will be held in the grade school cafeteria. The Science Night portion will be held at the high school building and will include a variety of science-themed activities.

• Saturday, May 13
-The Calhoun Tourism Committee is hosting the community’s second annual Garden and Flower Expo from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. along the Hardin Riverfront. Throughout the day various presentations will provide visitors information on pollinators, composting, landscaping, cut flower planting, culinary herbs and edible landscapes. The day will also include kid’s activities, live music, shopping and food vendors.
