Attorney Edward J. Fanning recently attended “One Day, One SIUE” Day of Giving with his granddaughter, Jolene Fanning, where he donated $150,000 from Merle and Teddi Inman’s estate to the SIUE Student Foundation for Calhoun County Student Scholarships.
Carol Brangenberg, lifelong family friend and Executor of the Estate of Merle Inman was unable to attend, but it is through Brangenberg’s hard work handling Merle Inman’s Estate that they have created an endowment fund currently over $2.2 million. Brangenberg is hopeful to continue to add to this endowment fund.
The Teddi and Merle Inman Endowment Scholarship Fund is a scholarship fund for Calhoun County students attending SIUE. Any student, at any level of undergraduate studies, is eligible to apply. Teddi and Merle Inman’s generosity towards the children of Calhoun County will help ease the financial strain of obtaining an education for these students and help fulfill their dreams and the Inman’s legacy will continue for generations to come.
If you have any questions, or need assistance regarding this scholarship, contact Attorney Edward J. Fanning at his office. He hopes all will apply to ensure that no eligible student is overlooked or misses out on the opportunities that have been created by Teddi and Merle Inman.
