Families and residents filled the firehouse in Perry on Sunday to enjoy homemade ice cream made by members of the North Pike Fire Protection District. Members of the North Pike Fire Protection District (NPFPD) made homemade ice cream at the department’s annual ice cream social on Sunday at the firehouse in Perry. During the event NPFPD Assistant Chief Greg Martin (left) and NPFPD Chief Jeff Butler (right) oversee the ice cream machines. Proceeds from the ice cream social are used by the district to purchase necessary equipment and supplies.
