The St. John’s Lady Redbirds were sent off to the State Softball Tournament Friday afternoon with a parade around the Carrollton Square. Rather than go up separately, all of the parents chipped in and rented the Timmy’s Travel’s tour bus so the girls could travel up to the tournament in style and as a team. A couple of the girls can be seen in the door of the bus. The Lady Hawks won their first game, lost in the semi-final but ended up winning third place in State. Congratulations, Lady Redbirds on a great season.
