Isaac McGlaughlen got a big send-off Thursday when he left for Bloomington, the site of the IHSA state golf tournament.The send off included the student body of PHS making a human tunnel for him on the way to the Pittsfield Fire Department fire engine waiting to give him the customary trip around town. McGlauglen is a freshman at Pittsfield High School. He played his first round of golf at the state tournament Friday and shot and 81, good enough to earn him a berth on Saturday’s play list. Saturday was even better as he shot a 78. His total for the weekend was 159 he and finished 25 overall.
