The Inaugural Fall Hills, Hollers and Creek Jeep Ride was held this past Sunday with over 100 jeeps participating. They began the ride at the Illinois in Riverdock and worked their way through the hills over to the Fox Creek Bourbon Barrel, up to the Twin Culverts in Pearl and finished their ride off with dinner at Straight Home enjoying the music from Steve Kirn.
People from as far away as St. Louis, Hannibal, Quincy and Springfield area participated as well as many local residents.
“Everyone enjoyed the county roads and beauty, and they plan to make this an annual event. They had hoped for the first year to get at least 20 jeeps, they were very excited that they got over 100,” event organizer Joanne Dexheimer said.
