John Wood Community College’s Student Life organization will host the family event, “Winter Wonderland,” Wednesday, December 6, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., located in the Spring Valley Trails at the Quincy campus. The trails are located near the rear parking on the southeast corner of campus.
The event is a unique outdoor opportunity that features pictures with Santa, a campfire, hot chocolate, treats, and activities. Cost is $5. Proceeds will benefit JWCC’s food pantry.
Children of all ages are welcome and JWCC will take pictures and post the photos on the College’s Facebook page. By attending this event attendees agree to have their likeness recorded for possible College use. Parents and guardians are welcome to take personal photos as well.
In case of inclement weather, the event will be held in the Mary Ellen Orr Auditorium lobby inside the JWCC Heath Center. For more information contact JWCC Coordinator of Student Life Eric Foster at [email protected].
