Kaydeen Stendeback | 76 | Carrollton

Beloved Mother and Wife, Kaydeen Stendeback’s love of her family and friends didn’t come to an end with her death. Kaydeen passed away on Saturday, Nov. 25, 2023, at the age of 76 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her family, who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
Kaydeen spent her career in health care, working in the lab at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Alton and later at Christian Northeast Hospital in St Louis. She had a fulfilling career and made many lifelong friends along the way. She loved crafts and shared her passion with her grandkids, often making holiday decorations together to adorn our homes. Kaydeen loved her annual tradition of traveling with friends to Arcola, Illinois to find unique crafts for her home and family.
Kaydeen is survived by her husband, Lloyd Withrow, of Carrollton, Illinois where they shared a home. Her four sons, Jason (Anjie) Stendeback, Todd (Lisa) Stendeback, Jeff (Angela) Stendeback, and Zachary, all reside in Alton, Illinois. Kaydeen has eight wonderful grandchildren, Michael, Kelsie, Jack, Owen, Samantha, James, Genevieve, and Cecilia.
Kaydeen was preceded in death by her late husband, Dennis Stendeback; her parents, David and Kathleen Becker; and brothers, Don David and Tom Becker.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2023, at St. John’s Cemetery in Carrollton, IL.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. John’s School in Carrollton, Illinois. Airsman-Hires Funeral Home in Carrollton, IL is in charge of arrangements.
