White Hall’s Lighted Christmas Parade was well attended Saturday evening despite the chill in the air. There were brightly lit floats and vehicles throwing candy out to the waiting hands of kids who were also in awe of the beauty of the many lights. The parade was led off by the Jacksonville Drumline, always a hit in any parade.

The Shriners, in their itty bitty cars are always a big hit and the fact that they decorated their cars for Christmas made them adorable. Shriner Andy Mansfield waves to the crowd. (Carmen Ensinger/Greene Prairie Press)

Even our four-legged friends got into the spirit of the holiday for the parade. Murphy, who is playing the role of “Max”, got to ride in the parade with mom and dad, Derrick and Amber Gilmore, while another canine pal had to walk in the cold. (Carmen Ensinger/Greene Prairie Press)

Welcome to Whoville – what more can be said about this float. (Carmen Ensinger/Greene Prairie Press)

Santa certainly has a lot of workers in his workshop this year and they all seem to be riding on this float. (Carmen Ensinger/Greene Prairie Press)

Brantzel’s went all out for their float. Wouldn’t want to count how many lights were on that float. (Carmen Ensinger/Greene Prairie Press)
