ROBERT WAYNE NIFFIN
Last week, Pike County Chief Deputy Zack Orr arrested Robert Wayne Niffen, 63, of Pittsfield, on a charge of failure to register as a sex offender and a State of Texas Department of Corrections parole violation warrant. The incident occurred Nov. 28.
Niffen was located at a residence located in the 300 block of Landess Terrace, Pittsfield. Niffen, who is also on federal probation, was arrested without incident and lodged in the Pike County Jail.
The Pike County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by the Pittsfield Police Department and Illinois State Police.
