Amelia and Atlas were the top baby names in Jacksonville in 2023, according to data

compiled by Family Maternity Suites at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital.

“We are honored to help welcome these babies into the world,” said Rachel Moore, nurse manager of Family Maternity Suites at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital. “Choosing a name is a very special moment for new parents, and it’s interesting to hear which names have meaning and significance for them.”

Rounding out the list of popular girls’ names for babies born in Jacksonville last year were Aurora, Charlotte, Everly, Grace, Kennedy, Sophia, Madelyn, Emma and Ella.

Other popular boys’ names were Atticus, Carson, Asher, Elliott, Henry, Hudson, Jack, Jackson and Oliver.
