• Pike-Scott Farm Bureau Young Leaders are holding a Bags Tournament Fundraiser. It will be held Saturday, Feb. 24 at 1 p.m. at the Riverbank. Proceeds will be donated to Access Illinois to help the local food banks and to help fund the activities of the Pike-Scott Farm Bureau Young Leaders.
• The American Legion will be holding a Pancake and Sausage Breakfast on Saturday, March 2, from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the legion hall. Everyone is welcomed to join, and free will donations will be accepted.
• The Pike County Christian Academy is having their second annual Trivia Night March at 6 p.m. Teams need to have 2-6 members. The cost is 20 per person if registered and paid by Feb. 24. The purpose of the money-maker is improvements to the gym. To register either email [email protected] or call 217-285-9627.
• A benefit for Shane Hunt to help with his expenses while fighting cancer. Saturday, March 2, 3 p.m. 7 p.m. at the Griggsville American Legion. Pulled pork dinner, live and silent auction, raffle and cake walk. Donate through Venom at Sheila-Hunt-8. Auction items can be dropped off at any Farmers National Bank of Griggsville location.
• The VITA tax assistance will be at Pike County Senior Services at 400 W Jefferson St. Pittsfield, IL (Findley Place Apartments) Friday March 8, 2024 to assist with tax assistance. Call Connie at 217-285-6150 for an appointment.
