The following police reports were filed between February 16 and February 22. These reports are public information and are obtained from the Jersey County Circuit Clerk’s office. All individuals have been arrested and charged, or cited in the case of traffic violations. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
The following individual was charged with a felony:
Joseph L. Miller, dob 11-05-1996, harassing witness/family member/representative.
The following individuals were charged with a DUI:
Mary T. Bear, dob 7-20-1963, driving under the influence of alcohol.
Brad L. Richardson, dob 9-25-1973, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving 15-20 mph above limit.
Belking Vargas, dob 5-18-1978, driving under the influence/blood alcohol concentration 0.08, transport/carry alcohol liquor/driver, unlicensed, operate uninsured motor vehicle, improper use registration/title, no valid registration/1st and 2nd.
The following individuals were charged with an ordinance violation:
Rivas A. Becerra, dob 11-15-1979, negligent driving.
Brian D. Dennon, dob 10-20-1981, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of cannabis.
John Vernon Hilgar Jr., dob 6-04-1963, negligent driving.
Tabatha J. Powell, dob 5-09-1989, negligent driving.
The following individuals were charged with a major traffic violation:

Parker J. Williams, dob 4-03-1989, leaving the scene.
