The March 4-H meeting was held Monday, March 11, at the Nimrod Funk building in Winchester with 40 members, 20 guests and 3 leaders present.
A presentation on Sport Fishing was given by Curt Sinclaire. The presentation included information on a virtual fishing tournament. Mr. Sinclaire is an Environmental Specialist from the University of Illinois extension office.
The Honor Flight drive thru pancake/sausage breakfast has been changed to the afternoon of April 21. It is from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Nimrod Funk building. Everyone is encouraged to bring their appetite! Club members signed up to volunteer for the event.
Llama News: Kris Allen has scheduled a meeting for April 14 at 1:30 p.m. at her house. This meeting will be to set a schedule for practice times and days for anyone interested in showing llamas this year. April 14 will be the deadline to sign up for a llama project through K&T Llamas.
4-H talks were given by seven members. Once the meeting was complete, club members gather pictures from the 2023 year. The next 4-H meeting will be held on Monday, April 8, at the Nimrod Funk building in Winchester.
