Pike County Quail and Upland Management Association awarded thirteen scholarships at their QUMA Banquet Feb. 24.
Any student in Pike County entering or attending a two-year or four-year program after graduation with an emphasis on agriculture or conservation is eligible to apply for the Roger Frazier QUMA Scholarship.
QUMA thanks all the applicants who applied for the scholarship and wishes them well in their future endeavors.
Scholarships were awarded to:
• Colby Tate, son of Jeremy and Alicia Tate, majoring in Agronomy and will attend Iowa State
• Jonah Thomas, sone of Jeremy Thomas and Tatjana, majoring in Ag Business/Ag Science and will attend JWCC
• Johnny Picone, son of John and Daloris Picone, majoring in Ag Engineering and will attend Moberly Area Community College and the Drury Univ
• Alexis Ator, daughter of Craig and Kim Ator, majoring in Ag Economics and Environmental Policy, will attend Michigan State University, Ohio State University of Univ of Illinois
• Brady Curtis, sone of Paul and Kristine Curtis, majoring inConservation/Biology and will attend Illinois State University
• Isaac Helms, son of Joe and Stacy Helms, majoring in Wildlife Biology, will attend JWCC
• Michael Myers, son of Steven and Lori Myers, majoring in Engineering Technoclogy and Management for Agricultural Systems, will attend University of Illinois
• Wyatt McClintock, son of Brad and Crystal McClintock, majoring in Agriculture and will attend JWCC
• Hunter McEwen, son of Carter and Jenny McEwen, majoring in Conservation and Wildlife Management, attending JWCC
• Joseph Thomas, son of Jason and Erica Thomas, majoring in Agriculture Business, will attend JWCC.
• Wyatt Lipcaman, son of Aaron and Annette Lipcaman, majoring in Agronomy, will attend Iowa State.
• Lane Lipcaman, son of Aaron and Annette Lipcaman, majoring in Agronomy, will attend JWCC or Iowa State University
• Bowman Taylor, son of Tony and Jill Taylor, majoring in Agri Business Management, will attend Culver Stockton.
