The Second Annual Western Illinois Showpig Connection was held on Friday, March 22nd at the JWCC Ag Education Center. Over 50 head from seven regional showpig breeders were put up for auction. Breeders included: Armstrong Genetics, Denny Show Pigs, DeOrnellas Livestock, Don & Mark Peter Farms, Engnell Showpigs, Tedrow Livestock, and White Showpigs.The auction was conducted by Auctioneer Quest Flesner. According to JWCC ag instructor Justin Lewis, approximately 140 attendees were present for the auction.
