Lisa Middelton
Lisa Middelton, a central sterile technician with Sterile Processing at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital, is the nonprofit hospital’s Colleague of the Month for March.
A relative newcomer to JMH, Middelton has impressed colleagues with her work ethic, her willingness to ask questions and the pride she takes in her work. She is responsible for inspecting every instrument, tool and scope to make sure it is properly assembled, clean and safe to re-use.
“Lisa is always ready to help,” wrote one nominator. “She makes sure to work to the best of her abilities, and she is a team player. She cares about each patient and ensures the equipment we use is in proper function and sterility.”
Middelton has worked for Jacksonville Memorial Hospital since 2023.
