The Roodhouse and White Hall Police Departments will be sponsoring a Youth Trap Shooting Clinic on Saturday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for youth ages 10 to 18 years of age at the FLC Shooting Grounds in White Hall.
The class is for first time beginners to novices and participants will be shooting clays and .22 course. The course will be conducted by certified firearm safety instructors.
“Our goal is simple,” Roodhouse Police Chief Kyle Robison said, “To teach our youth how to use firearms safely.”
Everything will be provided for those who don’t have the needed gear. There will be 20-gauge shotguns available as well as eye and ear protection available. Of course, there will also be ammo and clays provided as well.
Because shooting makes one hungry, food will be provided as well, courtesy of Just Porkin’ Around.
