Jason Garrett, RN, at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital, is the nonprofit hospital’s Colleague of the Month for April.
Colleagues appreciate how Garrett prioritizes safety when it comes to patient care. He is easy to talk with about potential safety issues and will always help brainstorm a solution. Garrett helps train new hires and is always working to improve his own skills.
“Jason never fails to put a smile on patient and staff faces,” wrote his nominator. “He remains calm and collected in high stress situations and is always there to help show staff how to do a certain task they may not have completed before. He is one of the best team players we have on the night shift, and we are all thankful for him!”
Garrett has worked for Jacksonville Memorial Hospital since 2013.
