The annual Winchester FFA banquet was held Friday, April 26, at the Winchester EMS building. Winchester FFA members, their families, FFA alumni, and community supporters gathered for the evening to celebrate the chapter’s successes and achievements from the past school year. In addition, the group inducted a new group of chapter officers.
The annual Winchester FFA banquet was held Friday, April 26, at the Winchester EMS building.
Winchester FFA members, their families, FFA alumni, and community supporters gathered for the evening to celebrate the chapter’s successes and achievements from the past school year.
Besides celebrating the past year, one of the most important purposes of the annual banquet is to induct the next year’s chapter officers.
The following Winchester FFA members were inducted as officers at the group’s banquet Friday:
• Kylie Clayton – President;
• Julia Wahl – Vice-President;
• Audi Brown – Secretary;
• Carson Brown – Treasurer;
• Treyton Drake – Sentinel;
• Luke Kunz – Historian;
• Reagan Brown – Chaplain;
• Luca Naccarato – Greenhand Advisor;
• Peyton Andras – Reporter.
In other Winchester FFA news, the group announced, via social media post, that there are still many plants and baskets available for sale at the Winchester High School greenhouse.
Ornamental plants still available for purchase include geraniums, petunias, and spikes.
Vegetable plants still available for purchase include peppers and tomatoes.
In addition, there are still edible and ornamental baskets for sale at the high school greenhouse.
The Winchester High School greenhouse will be open the following days and times:
• Friday, May 3 – 12-4 p.m.
• Saturday, May 4 – 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
