The following police reports were filed between May 31 and June 6, 2024. These reports are public information and are obtained from the Jersey County Circuit Clerk’s office. All individuals have been arrested and charged, or cited in the case of traffic violations. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
The following individuals were charged with a felony:
James F. Crowe, dob 8-04-1962, criminal damage to property between $500-$10K.
Ira A. Marchbanks, dob 3-10-1991, manufacturing/delivery between 1-15 grams cocaine/analog, possession of an amount of a controlled substance except (A)/(D).
The following individuals were charged with a misdemeanor:
Tiffani D. Edmiston, dob 10-26-1994, two charges of guardian allows child truancy.
Heather L. Funk, dob 3-23-1976, guardian allows child truancy.
Ashley N. Furlow, dob 1-04-1987, two charges of guardian allows child truancy.
Chase Scott Manns, dob 6-07-2002, dog running at large/1st.
Savannah M. Place, dob 12-31-1989, guardian allows child truancy.
Mary L. Simpson, dob 5-31-1988, guardian allows child truancy.
Nicole R. Stilwell, dob 4-10-1988, guardian allows child truancy.
The following individuals were charged with OUI/DUI:
Jonathan R. Lorts, dob 5-01-2002, watercraft/operating under the influence of alcohol, watercraft/operating under the influence/blood alcohol concentration 0.08, operating boat without a lanyard cutoff.
Owen D. Smith, dob 11-17-1973, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on a suspended license, speeding 35+ mph over limit.
The following individuals were charged with an ordinance violation:
Nathaniel L. Badman, dob 7-07-1993, negligent driving.
Brandi M. Hillig, dob 3-17-1980, possession of drug paraphernalia.
The following individuals were charged with a major traffic violation:

Jon G. Deneef, dob 3-28-1986, driving on a suspended license.
Gabriella June Field, dob 2-01-2003, operate vehicle registration suspended/2nd, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Eric T. Manzano, dob 2-19-1988, operate vehicle registration suspended/2nd.
Martha I. Martinez, dob 9-20-2004, canceled/revoked/suspended registration/IL.
Donna M. McNatt, dob 1-27-1959, operate vehicle registration suspended/2nd, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Jeffrey R. Miller, dob 8-12-1963, operate vehicle registration suspended/2nd, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Levi C. Morgan, dob 6-15-1993, driving on a suspended license, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
