Sheriff’s office makes multiple battery arrests

On June ,3 at approximately 6 p.m., the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a disturbance in progress at an apartment complex in the 700 block of Illinois State Highway 96., Kampsville.

Andrea McCoy
Subsequent to an investigation, Andrea J. McCoy, 44, of Kampsville, was arrested for the following offenses:
• Aggravated battery to peace officer;
• Battery (three counts);
• Disorderly conduct.
McCoy was arrested without incident and was booked into the Jersey County Jail.
On June 1, at approximately 1 a.m., the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a domestic disturbance on North Michael Rd., Michael.

Alan Fields
The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene and began an investigation. Subsequently, Alan A. Fields, 42, of Michael, was arrested for the following offenses:
• Domestic battery.
Fields was arrested without incident and was transported to the Jersey County Jail.
On May 30, at approximately 10 p.m., the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a disturbance on Martin’s Landing Rd., Golden Eagle.
The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene and began an investigation.

Christopher Halemeyer
The suspect was later apprehended, and subsequently, Christopher Halemeyer, 41, of Brussels, was arrested for the following offenses:
• Intimidation;
• Disorderly conduct (two counts).
Halemeyer was arrested without incident and was transported to the Greene County Jail.
All suspect(s) are innocent until proven guilty.
