PARKER CORBRIDGE
Parker Corbridge, an Environmental Services tech at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital, is the nonprofit hospital’s Colleague of the Month for June.
Corbridge is known for his attention to detail and the way he helps others when he sees someone in need. His nominator observed him on two separate occasions helping an elderly, disoriented patient who had left their room. He stayed with the patient until a staff member could assist.
Another time, he came to the assistance of a husband and wife in the Emergency Department. The wife was nauseated. The husband requested tissues, and Corbridge immediately brought some from the storage area.
“Parker shows it is all of our responsibility to stand by the patient to prevent a fall or patient harm until help arrives,” his nominator wrote. “I believe he shows integrity by taking a moment to assist and shows that JMH has a community of caring.”
Corbridge has worked for Jacksonville Memorial Hospital since 2022.
