Randy Dolen, a member of the Winchester Emergency Service for over 46 years, is “semi-retiring” soon . Family, friends and well wishers surprised him with a celebration on Sunday afternoon, June 24, at the EMS building. Dolen joined the Winchester EMS in June of 1978 and said he’s filled every role as a first responder over the years. “I’ve done everything,” he said, from providing patient care to driving the ambulance. He is pictured with his family, from left to right Whitney, Corey, Jaylyn and Jentry Dolen; Molly, Bryan, Maddox and Isaac Taylor and Cathy Dolen. Cathy and Corey served previously on the EMS, while Bryan, Molly, Jaylyn are actively serving.
