The following police reports were filed between July 12 and July 18, 2024. These reports are public information and are obtained from the Jersey County Circuit Clerk’s office. All individuals have been arrested and charged, or cited in the case of traffic violations. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
The following individuals were charged with a felony:

Jesse E. Hale, dob 12-07-1983, criminal damage to property between $500-$10K.
Andrew Wayne Hoofard, dob 2-27-1986, theft control intent between $500-$10K.
Adam D. Seib, dob 8-28-1989, theft control intent between $500-$10K.
Sylvia R. Wedding, dob 10-05-1983, theft/ unauthorized control/between $500-$10K.
The following individual was charged with a DUI:
Douglas C. Wood, dob 12-26-1970, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence/blood alcohol concentration 0.08, improper passing on the shoulder of road.
The following individual was charged with domestic violence:
David T. DeSherlia, dob n/a, domestic battery/bodily harm.
The following individual was charged with an ordinance violation:
Anna Michelle Taylor, dob 2-16-2006, possession of drug paraphernalia.
The following individuals were charged with a major traffic violation:
Sarah Louise Courson, dob 12-19-1973, operate vehicle registration suspended/2nd, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Shane M. Cummings, dob 1-12-1993, driving on a revoked license, reckless driving, fleeing/attempting to elude officer.
Kimberly G. Norman, dob 9-13-1968, canceled/revoked/suspended registration/IL.
Joshua T. Oyeboade, dob 9-17-1995, speeding 26-34 mph over limit.
Sara A. Stiles, dob 10-13-1989, drivers license expired more than a year.
The following individuals were charged with a traffic violation:
Tara D. Adams, dob 3-09-1998, driving 21-25 mph above limit.
Clifford Henry Baldwin, dob 3-12-2008, disregard stop sign.
Jillian Christine Clarkson, dob 12-03-2002, disregard official traffic-control device.
Kristopher S. Keller, dob 7-21-1997, driving 1-10 mph above limit.
Scott E. Ludgate, dob 3-10-2006, driving 21-25 mph above limit.
Lauren Izabella Sturgill, dob 8-07-2003, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Jacob Thery, dob 6-18-2002, unlicensed, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Mildred D. Thuer, dob 11-16-1946, failure to the right-of-way/T-intersection.
