The following police reports were filed between July 26 and August 1, 2024. These reports are public information and are obtained from the Jersey County Circuit Clerk’s office. All individuals have been arrested and charged, or cited in the case of traffic violations. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
The following individuals were charged with a misdemeanor:

The following individuals were charged with domestic violence:

Alero O. Watson, dob 3-19-2002, domestic battery/bodily harm.
The following individuals were charged with an ordinance violation:
Caleb J. Hovis, dob 5-28-2000, obstructing traffic.
Dominick Marlon Price, dob 12-14-1983, negligent driving.
Charles J. Thompson, dob 5-01-1991, negligent driving.
Rajanikanth Vangipurapu, dob 8-10-1977, negligent driving.
The following individual was charged with an conservation violation:
Stephen T. Page, dob 1-02-1974, operate unnumbered boat.
The following individuals were charged with a major traffic violation:
Michael John Allen, dob 6-24-2004, driving on a suspended license.
Eli J. Brown, dob 3-18-2004, speeding 35+ mph over limit.
Jacob C. Esparza, dob 12-22-1995, driving on a suspended license, operate vehicle registration suspended/2nd, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Jessica L. Fowler, dob 9-14-1983, operate vehicle registration suspended/2nd, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
