John Wood Community College (JWCC) kicked off its first day of fall semester classes on Monday, August 19.
As part of the beginning of the 2024-2025 academic year, JWCC also celebrated its 50th anniversary with a campus-wide birthday party.
The celebration included complimentary cake, fun gifts, and a brief historical photo opportunity for students, faculty, staff, and retirees at each of the college’s campuses and centers.
JWCC President Bryan Renfro visited each of the college’s locations to cut birthday cake and pose for a commemorative photo along with students, staff and community visitors.
Renfro visited Pittsfield’s Southeast Education Center on Tuesday, August 20 and Perry’s Ag Center on Thursday, August 22.
