Calhoun Elementary/Junior High School hosted Family Fun night Wednesday evening for students and their families. Originally this event was slated to be held at the end of the 2024 school year but three postponements due to inclement weather forced it to be canceled.
“So instead of farewell to the school year we made it a welcome back to school event,” said Principal Jean Heil.
Bounce houses, bubble pit, ball tosses, face painting and the dunking booth kept students entertained. Also on hand ice cream, hot dogs, lemonade and everyone’s favorite cotton candy.
Students, parents and staff all had a great time and the weather cooperated perfectly.
