The Pikeland Unit 10 School Board accepted two resignations and hired a teacher at their regular meeting, Sept. 25.
Rhonda Syrcle, was hired as a third grade teacher at Pikeland Community School. Syrcle had previously retired, but, is returning to the class room on a Return to Teach contract.
Mary Lou Hausmann, a full-time paraprofessional and Joe Butler, a junior high wrestling coach, both tendered the resignation.
Alicia Watkins had a change of position to short-term substitute teacher at PCS.
