– The Barry Community Chorus will begin rehearsals for the annual Christmas cantata Oct. 14 at 7:30 p.m. at the Barry United Methodist Church on Perry St. in Barry. All interested singers are welcome to join us. The performance date is Dec. 8. For more information, call Judy Steers at 217-430-0100.
– John Wood Community College (JWCC) invites prospective students, parents, and community members to the JWCC Agriculture Open House on Monday, October 14th, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The event will be held at the JWCC Agriculture Education Center, located at 37803 IL-104. The Open House provides an opportunity for individuals to learn more about the agriculture programs offered at JWCC. Attendees will have the chance to tour the Agriculture Education Center, meet instructors, and get information about the admissions process.
