Brewed announced the opening of its new location by way of social media post last week.
“Okay you’ve waited long enough,” the Facebook post read. “The opening is finally here!!!! This Wednesday, at 6:00 a.m., Brewed Coffee House Griggsville will open its doors!!!”
Owner Robert Brewer had originally announced his intention to open the satellite location of the business back in the spring of 2022.
According to Brewer, the new location of Brewed in Griggsville is intended to complement rather than compete with Griggsville’s current food service establishments – including Rumors Have It and Teddy’s Bar & Grill.

Brewed Coffee House & Eatery opened its new Griggsville location last week. In an attempt to embrace the Griggsville community, Brewed has even developed a new Lotus drink celebrating Griggsville’s iconic bird – the Purple Martin.
“I don’t want to be a bar,” Brewer said when first explaining his plans for the business back in 2022. “We’re going to do breakfast. I think there’s a market without interfering with the businesses uptown.”
Because the business features a drive-through, a focus of the Griggsville location of Brewed is on convenience. As a result, the business will offer many quick service breakfast options – in addition to its menu of espresso, coffee, and Lotus drinks.
Toward that end, Brewed will offer “grab and go” donuts, bagels, and breakfast sandwiches for customers seeking quick breakfast options.

Brewer said that he hopes the expansion of Brewed to a new location benefits both his business and the quality of life in the county.
“We just want to continue what we started,” Brewer said. “It’s just about growing and growing Pike County. We want to give back and make the community better.”
