The news quickly spread throughout Calhoun Wednesday evening of the passing of Reverend Paul Frazier. Leaving the congregation of Hardin Presbyterian Church saddened and shocked as well as the entire community.
Reverend Frazier and his family answered the call and made Calhoun their home in 1988. He became very active in the community helping to head up Hardin Trunk or Treat and the Annual Stuff Your Stocking. He enjoyed reading and could be found many mornings enjoying his book club and visiting everyone he saw at the Illinois Riverdock Restaurant.
He gave the benediction at many graduations throughout his time. Also presiding over many weddings and funerals regardless if you were a member of his congregation. Every year he would visit the students next door at St. Norbert’s in celebration of All Saints Day with them.
Reverend Frazier is survived by his wife Joan, four children Taylor, Travis, Elizabeth and Sarah.
