The Pittsfield High School Drama Club is rehearsing “10 Ways to Survive the Holidays” in preparedness for the Nov. 8-10 shows.
“ ‘10 Ways to Survive the Holidays,’ is written by Don Zolidis,” said, Christie Mendenhall, director.
“We did a show by him in 2019, ‘The Bold, The Young, and The Murdered.’ He is a fantastic author.”
Mendenhall describes the show has having lots of laughs, music and special moments.
“Sure, it’s the most wonderful time of the year – but during the holiday season, you have to be ready for anything. You never know when you might be trapped in an increasingly embarrassing family photo shoot; or haunted by ghosts who want to teach you life lessons; or cornered by carolers demanding figgy pudding when they really mean cash. Luckily, the narrators are here to show you how to make it through the New Years in one piece. It’s possibly you have been through one or more of these “events” during the holidays. There is something for everyone in this show. Lots of laughter, music, and some special moments you don’t want to miss,” Mendenhall said.
