DR. JAMES UHLES, MD

Boyd Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce that Dr. James Uhles, MD, will be joining the Carrollton Rural Health Clinic starting in March.
“Boyd Memorial Hospital is excited to welcome Dr. Uhles to our team,” Boyd Hospital CEO Stace Holland said. “We are confident that his expertise will be a valuable asset to the children and families in our community.”
Dr. Uhles, a board-certified pediatrician, will be available to see patients every Wednesday, providing comprehensive pediatric care to the community.
Dr. Uhles brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to pediatric health. He completed his medical education at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Urbana-Champaign, followed by a residency at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield.
He is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, as well as a member of the American Medical Association.
Throughout his career, Dr. Uhles has developed special interests in behavioral pediatrics, ADHD, preventing antibiotic resistance, asthma and infectious diseases. He is dedicated to improving the well-being of his patients and values taking the time to answer parents’ questions and educate them on their child’s condition.
