Lots of rainy and cold weather hasn’t been that good for litter pickers cleaning the local roadways for the annual Cash for Roadside Trash program. Yet, this past Saturday, the skies cleared and volunteers were out and about on Calhoun roadways, north end to south, to collect litter for the programs redemption day on Saturday, April 19, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Calhoun Highway Building, south of Hardin, and at St. Mary’s parking lot in Brussels.
