Paul Sievers presented the Sievers Community Impact Scholarship to Abby McCasland . Abby stepped up to save the Calhoun High School band program by leading a student-ran club, arranging/transposing all of the music, motivating the team and sacrificing a lot of her time to make it happen. She was the manager of the girls basketball team, where she organized stats, attended every practice and coordinated filming. She was also a member of the scholastic bowl competitive team. She managed to accomplish all of this while working hours after school to help support her family.
