The Pittsfield High School Class of 1954 Scholarship Fund awarded $116,500 in scholarships for 11 graduates of the PHS Class of 2025. This total is the organization’s largest commitment to any PHS graduating class.
Seren Davenport was awarded a 4-year scholarship of $40,000 to study speech-language pathology at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Emma Henry was awarded a $10,000 scholarship in memory of A.D. and Judy Bauer to support her nursing education at Lincoln Land Community College.
Keaton Hittner received a $2,500 vo-tech scholarship to pursue an associate degree in applied science with electrical certification at JWCC.
Grant McCartney was awarded a $2,000 community college scholarship to support his education at JWCC, where he plans to study business.
Jesse Davidsmeyer was awarded a $2,000 community college scholarship. Jesse planned to begin his education at JWCC and pursue a career in law enforcement.
Clayton Reinhardt received a $2,000 scholarship to support his studies at JWCC where he plans to prepare for a career in conservation management and wildlife biology.
Lila Simon received a $3,000 scholarship toward her education at Central College in Pella, Iowa, where she will major in biochemistry.
Madison Frieden was awarded a $5,000 scholarship in support of her studies at JWCC and her long-term goal of earning a degree in communications.
Rylee Myers received a 4-year scholarship of $40,000 to begin her studies at John Wood Community College (JWCC). She plans to transfer to Quincy University-Blessing Rieman College of Nursing and Health Sciences to earn a degree in radiologic sciences.
Ashley Avendano was awarded a $5,000 scholarship to support her education at Illinois State University where she will study to become a bilingual elementary education teacher.
McKinley Walston received a $5,000 scholarship to begin her nursing studies at JWCC.
