The following police reports were filed between June 13 and June 19, 2025. These reports are public information and are obtained from the Jersey County Circuit Clerk’s office. All individuals have been arrested and charged, or cited in the case of traffic violations. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
The following individuals were charged with a felony:
Drake K. Heffernan, dob 7-24-2006, two charges of theft/by deception/person/ less than $500.
Joshua E. Kopp, dob 8-9-1988, possession of an amount of a controlled substance except (A)/(D).
Wyatt M. Kruse, dob 2-15-1994, possession of meth less than five grams, possession of drug paraphernalia.
Christy R. Romine, dob 3-29-1980, possession of meth less than five grams, obstructing justice/destroy evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia.
Trey R. Tuey, dob 10-10-1994, possession of an amount of a controlled substance except (A)/(D), driving under the influence of a drug, improper traffic lane usage.
The following individual was charged with a misdemeanor:
Justin W. Kirby, dob 2-18-1979, violate order of protection.
The following individuals were charged with a DUI:
Eric David Chandler, dob 4-05-1970, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence/blood alcohol concentration 0.08.
Theodore J. Heitzig, dob 12-09-1998, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving 21-25 mph above limit.
The following individuals were charged with an ordinance violation:
Zachary Deverger, dob n/a, junk, trash, unlicensed, inoperable red truck.
Darrell Stierley, dob n/a, junk, trash, refuse, open burning.
The following individuals were charged with a major traffic violation:
Darin L. Day, dob 1-30-1986, driving on a suspended license, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Grant Douglas Scott, dob 12-16-2003, speeding 35+ mph over limit.
Edward J. Williams, dob 11-17-1989, driving on a suspended license.
The following individuals were charged with a traffic violation:
Stephen C. Bond, dob 1-24-1964, driving 15-20 mph above limit.
John Brayden Carroll, dob 3-07-2006, driving 21-25 mph above limit.
Candace L. Green, dob 11-13-1991, no valid registration/1st and 2nd.
Ethan P. Hetzel, dob 4-30-1992, registration expiration/1st and 2nd.
Robert Charles Jumper Jr., dob 7-24-2007, driving 21-25 mph above limit, seat belt required/driver.
Timothy E. McBride, dob 2-29-1992, disregard official traffic-control device.
Logan Lee McMahon, dob 7-01-2008, driving 21-25 mph above limit.
Kaleb E. Morgan, dob 9-02-1990, no valid registration/1st and 2nd.
Taylor M. Tholen, dob 6-05-1983, driving 21-25 mph above limit.
Amia K. Tomlinson, dob 2-24-2000, driving 15-20 mph above limit.
Carmella K.F. Williams, dob 3-02-2009, improper left turn/on-coming traffic.
