The Carrollton Summer Lunch Program is going strong again this year. The program, which not only provides meals to students, but to anyone in the community who needs them, has been serving an average of 75 lunches per day throughout the week. The lunches are prepared at the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall and a different local church is in charge of preparing and distributing the lunches each week. Last week, St. John’s Catholic Church was in charge. Bowen and Brooklyn Eilerman volunteered to help with the lunches and were in charge of putting chips into the bags.
