The following police reports were filed between July 18 and July 24, 2025. These reports are public information and are obtained from the Jersey County Circuit Clerk’s office. All individuals have been arrested and charged, or cited in the case of traffic violations. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
The following individuals were charged with a felony:
Lucas A. Brown, dob 5-13-1992, reckless discharge of a firearm/endangers, aggravated assault/discharge firearm.
Ashley M. Crotchett, dob 5-02-1989, burglary without causing damage, theft/control/person less than $500.
Tanner T. Eyler, dob 1-29-1997, possession of firearm repeat felony offender, aiding/abetting/possess/sell stolen vehicle, theft/control/person less than $500, theft/unauthorized control/less than $500.
Teresa S. Reynolds, dob 6-05-1977, possession of an amount of a controlled substance except (A)/(D).
Clarence F. Smith, dob 9-10-1958, possession of meth between 15-100 grams.
Ronald J. Stanley, dob 12-31-1986, controlled substance trafficking.
The following individuals were charged with a misdemeanor:
Rose Lee Brainerd, dob 4-27-2007, consumption of liquor/minor, unlawful possession of cannabis/driver, transport/carry alcohol liquor/driver.
Jimmie D. Smith Jr., dob 3-12-1968, theft/unauthorized control/less than $500.
The following individuals were charged with a DUI:
John C. Chappell, dob 1-14-1992, driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Reginald Beraldo Kihwele, dob 2-28-2002, driving under the influence of alcohol.
Brian Lee Wood, dob 4-17-1975, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence/blood alcohol concentration 0.08, speeding 26-34 mph over limit.
The following individual was charged with a civil law violation:
Rose L. Brainerd, dob 4-24-2007, possession of cannabis less than 10 grams.
The following individuals were charged with a major traffic violation:
Brandi R. Fisher, dob 5-14-1973, driving on a suspended license, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Donavin M. Klunk, dob 8-11-1997, speeding 26-34 mph over limit.
Dane W. Little, dob 2-13-2007, driving on a revoked license.
Daniel L. Trask, dob 6-23-1973, driving on a suspended license, improper use of registration/title.
The following individuals were charged with a traffic violation:
Todd A. Cunningham, dob 3-17-1987, expiration of registration.
Calvin J. Davis, dob 6-09-1993, no valid registration/1st and 2nd.
Jacob Allen Dickerman, dob 4-12-1993, registration expiration/1st and 2nd.
William E. Everts, dob 6-27-1966, registration expiration/1st and 2nd.
Wyatt E. Frank, dob 12-09-2008, seat belt required/driver.
Joshua T. Reese, dob 1-06-2006, driving 15-20 mph above limit.
Crystal M. Snyder, dob 9-23-2007, improper left turn/on-coming traffic.
Austin Dean Sutton, dob 3-07-2005, driving 21-25 mph above limit.
Wyatt Gunnar Wagenblast, dob 5-13-2009, driving 21-25 mph above limit.
