Where nature nurtures knowledge

Discovery Day Camp has come to a close, and now the educators at The Nature Institute are turning their energy to serving the community with various programs throughout the year. TNI staff continually revamp and improve the programs offered and hope to see new and returning participants in the 2025-2026 school year.
August is full of opportunities to enjoy both before school starts and during those first few weeks of getting back into the swing of things.
■ August 8 – Kids Night Out (6-10 year olds)
■ August 23 – Messy Play Day (18 months -11 year olds)
■ August 27 – ECO Homeschool Adventures (1st-5th Graders)
■ August 28 – Forest Playdate (18 mos-6 year olds)
Then September kicks off our monthly and weekly programs for the year.
■ Tiny Trekkers – a weekly drop-off program for 3-5 year olds
■ Knee High Naturalists – a monthly adult and child class for 2.5-5 year olds
■ After School Explorers – a weekly drop-off program for students in 1st – 5th grade
■ ECO Homeschool Adventures – a monthly program designed for homeschool families
The Nature Institute educators love these recurring programs because they get to see the same kids over and over again. This gives them the opportunity to build a love of the natural world into these students, helping them to better understand and care for it.
All these programs and more can be registered for on our website. You can find more information on Facebook or the website, www.TheNatureInstitute.org. You can also call with any questions or help registering, 618-466-9930.
