The Village of Kampsville has one more big bash planned before the summer ends with their annual Summer Celebration this Saturday, Aug. 16.
The American Legion will be frying fish at 12 p.m. and visitors can stop by the grounds to start with lunch before the parade.
The parade will begin at 3 p.m. followed by the flag raising ceremony at 3:30 p.m. by the American Legion with the National Anthem performed by the Calhoun Entertainment Company.
Stage games start at 4 p.m., followed by the pageant at 6 p.m. and a fireworks display will light up the night at 9:15 p.m.
At 4 p.m. food vendors, craft vendors, games, bounce house, sand art, face painting and more will begin. For more information contact Village Hall at 618-653-4421.
