John Wood Community College is welcoming students back to campus this week as the Fall 2025 semester begins. Fall classes started Monday, Aug. 18, with multiple session options designed to meet students’ needs. The 16-week and first 8-week sessions begin Aug. 18, the 12-week session begins Sept. 15, and the second 8-week session begins Oct. 15.
“We’re encouraged by the continued growth in enrollment, which reflects the value students and families place on a quality, affordable education close to home,” said JWCC Interim President Josh Welker, who also serves as dean of business services and institutional effectiveness. “This fall, we remain focused on supporting students from their first day through completion, helping them reach their educational and career goals.”
“Access to student services shouldn’t be a barrier to enrollment or success,” said Rachel Hansen, Dean of Student Affairs. “By offering extended hours, we’re removing obstacles and ensuring all students have equitable access to the resources they need to start the semester prepared and informed.”
