The hot weather couldn’t keep the Village of Kampsville from having a good time at the Kampsville Summer Celebration last weekend. The Kampsville American Legion kicked things off as Grand Mashals of the parade before the flag raising and all the fun. The day included games for the family like cooking stacking and a watermelon eating contest. During the event Kampsville Royalty was crowned with Blair Kuehnel being named Baby Kampsville, Ryanne Holland named Toddler Kampsville, Devon Bean named Little Mr. Kampsville and Alyla Logsdan being named Little Miss Kampsville.
