Winchester’s annual Ladies Night Out event will take place starting at 4 p.m. on Friday, September 12.
The annual event always features an evening full of shopping, food and fun activities for attendees. As summer winds down, Ladies Night Out is designed to support participating local businesses, as residents begin to think about the fall/holiday shopping season.
In years past, local businesses have extended shopping hours and often host a variety of vendors for the event.
According to Winchester Mayor Rex McIntire, the event plays an important role in supporting local Winchester businesses.
“Anytime you bring that many people to downtown it’s an important thing to support our businesses,” McIntire said of a previous year’s Ladies Night Out event. “All the restaurants and retail shops benefit.”
