Isaac Dorsey, 37 of Griggsville pleaded guilty to three counts of Class 2 felony possession of child pornography last week in Pike County Court.
Judge J Frank McCartney sentenced Dorsey to four years probation, 180 days in jail and ordered him to pay $28,014 in fines and costs.
The criminal investigation apparently began in May 2024. Local, Brown and Calhoun County police, following up on tip, stopped Dorsey in June of last year on Illinois 107 near the Perry Junction. He was arrested at that time and charged 10 counts of child porn.
Calhoun and Pike County deputies executed a warrant for search his house on North State in Griggsville where more evidence was obtained.
Pike County chief deputy Zack Orr, as a member of the Illinois Crimes against Children Task Force, led the investigation..
Dorsey will have to register as a sex offender. He was credited with time served in the Pike County Jail.
