The Pike County Sheriff’s Department spent less than 24 hours looking for a pair of fugitives over the weekend. Two individuals were apprehended Sunday early afternoon, just west of Barry.
Pike County Crimestoppers put out a “seeking information” post on FaceBook Saturday afternoon. The post said law enforcement was seeking a male, 5’11, 185 lbs., brown hair, blue eyes, red sweatshirt, black pants, black backpack and Nike Shoes.
The females was described a 5’0, 100 bless, light blue sweatshirt and unknown color fanny pack.
The couple was believed to have been involved in a traffic accident on I-72 near mile marker 18 and was walking east when last spotted.
Although the PCSD would not say for what the couple was wanted in connection with, names, ages, or hometowns, they did advise anyone sighting the couple to not approach and immediately contact their office.
Law enforcement said they received numerous tips on the couple and appreciates the public’s help in locating the two.
