The DMV mobile unit will be at the Extension Office on Friday, Nov. 7. They are asking that you sign up prior to the date of the event. Please call Georgi at 618-576-2293 to sign up for your appointment.
Who pays first: When you have Medicare and another kind of insurance, Medicare will pay first. Medicare will be your primary insurance, your other insurance is called secondary. Primary insurance pays first for your medical bills that you have incurred. Your secondary insurance that you have will pay after the primary insurance pays. They will pay some or at times all of the bills after your primary insurance pays.
Midcare open enrollment begins October 15 and runs through December 7. Call 618-576-9567 to make your appointment with your local SHIP agent, Beverly Mosbarger.

Monday, Sept. 22: Breaded Pork Chop, Cauliflower with cheese, Peas, Lime Pears.
Tuesday, Sept. 23: Chicken Alfredo, Tossed Salad, Vegetable Blend, Apricots.
Wednesday, Sept. 24: Scrambled Eggs, Biscuits & Gravy, Breakfast Potatoes.
St. Vincent DePauls is open every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., except the fifth Wednesday of the month. This organization helps with rent, utilities, mortgage, GED as well as the food pantry and clothing store. They are located in Hardin, Illinois.
Free Food Distributions take place the second Monday of every month at the American Legion Post 1083 in Kampsville, Illinois. This is provided by Food Access Resource Markets; St. Louis Area Foodbank.
