Brock Fuhler hit two home runs and drove in seven runs to lead West Central to a 13-2 win over Jacksonville Middle School in junior high baseball at Bluffs.
The Cougars led 3-2 before Fuhler hit a two run home run in the fourth inning. He hit a grand slam home run in the fifth inning.
Colby Pratt singled in the first inning to drive in West Central’s first run of the game. Fuhler and Mayson Alexander each drove in runs in the second inning.
Jacksonville got within 3-2 in the fourth inning before Fuhler hit his first home run.
Maddox Chapman and Easton Smith each drove in runs in the fifth inning.
Fuhler went 3-for-4 with two home runs and scored two runsto lead the Cougars (12-2). Pratt went 2-for-4, scored one run and drove in one run.
Alexander went 1-for-2, scored one run, drove in one run and had two stolen bases. Knox Vortman went 1-for-3 and drove in two runs.
Jace Fryman scored three runs and stole four bases. Hudson Little scored two runs and stole two bases. Brycen Bloxam scored two runs and stole two bases.
Chapman scored one run and drove in one run. Smith drove in one run, and Jacoby Bigley scored one run.
Pratt allowed two runs and three hits over five innings and picked up the win. He struck out nine batters and did not give up a walk. Fuhler pitched one inning and struck out two.
